The formulation is designed to be complete rather than concentrated: in place of a protein supplement, an electrolyte sachet and a multivitamin, a single preparation is sufficient. The protein used is casein, released gradually, and the electrolytes replace salts lost through perspiration.
Preparation consists of measuring 25 g into 200 ml of water and stirring until dissolved. In kitchens the same powder is prepared in bulk from the 25 kg bag, which is supplied with a calibrated scoop.
